A lot of questions have come from many future nurses about the validity of an online degree and how it will effect ei ability to find a position once they graduate, after seeking out as much information we could, we find it safe to say that Excelsior is a great opportunity for those looking to become a nurse!

After contacting several nurses who had graduated from the Excelsior College we got a few of them to let us know about their experiences once they graduated in the job market… Bluntly put we asked them, once you graduated from Excelsior College how hard was it for you to find a job. Below are some of their responses.

Re: Getting a Job After Excelsior College I’m from GA and have graduated from Excelsior College and have already gotten 3 job offers!

Re: Getting a Job After Excelsior College The online course work was what really got me the job I was looking for, the ability to know what I was talking about and the technical knowledge I gained from Excelsior College made me stand out from the other candidates.

Re: Getting a Job After Excelsior College Currently attending Excelsior College, have a couple of friends who graduated already and neither had in trouble in the job market. Looking forward to graduation and putting all of this studying to work!

Re: Getting a Job After Excelsior College I graduated nearly 4 years ago now and at first went into a small private practice, the Doctor was a little worried the majority of my studies for this field had been online, but once I was able to demonstrate that I was more than capable and understood and knew what was necessary I was hired. For me it was not a question of attending an online school or not, that was my only option and I am grateful to have had it available. I have moved on in my career and am doing very well ;)

An overwhelming popular response is that graduating from Excelsior College results in a better job!

When your ready..

The first thing you need to do is pay the $75 application fee and have official copies of all transcripts sent to Excelsior so that they can do your evaluation and tell you how many classes/credits you’ll need — that will give you a good starting point, so you’ll know what you need without guesswork. If you have credits from another college this is a MUST!

For those out there very motivated, Excelsior is offering an ADN Option, which can get you trough your nursing test within 12 months, call Excelsior College for more information! The entire course is $1550 and can be split into 12 payments… Nothing beats this offer right now!
